It's shooting skill like you may never have seen it. Crows, rooks and jackdaws are ravaging Andy 'Crowman' Crow's arable farm in the South-East of England. A good breeding season means they are out in plague proportions and, once Andy's crops are devastated, they will face starvation. The best shot in the world, George Digweed, accepts Crowman's invitation to come on a day of corvid control. It is just before George goes out to Spain to win his 21st world championship and he is on fire. Crowman is not shooting badly either. Together, they shoot 585 birds.

This week on The Shooting Show, we’ve got a decoying day at both crow and pigeon lined up in the Scottish Borders. David Virtue sets his clients the task of corvid control on some spring barley fields. Meanwhile Byron Pace is behind the camera and Edan Annand is back again with his semi-auto – but things don’t all go to plan. Adaptability is crucial to secure a big bag, and David Virtue must rely on all his tricks to aid the team. In the second half of the show, Richard Atkins returns to review a Beretta semi-auto, the versatile A300 Xtrema.
